WORD FOR THE WISE: PROVERBS

PROVERB 10:5 He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame. 

Jesus confessed that "the laborers are few" in the work of the gospel. God sent His Son Jesus into the world to accomplish a work that would guarantee a spiritual harvest, the redeeming and gathering of the souls of His people. But what about us, who call ourselves sons of God? Are we asleep, or are we awake, alert, and diligently working wisely to win souls? Those that could care less about the gospel and evangelism are shameful and deny the call of God to labour for His glory.
