WORD FOR THE WISE: PROVERBS

Amidst the chaos and wickedness of this age, there is comfort in a Sovereign God, who controls and rules all things. Just as the waves of the ocean and the sea, so the forceful tide of evil can approach no further than His Sovereign decree. Our God appoints the times by His wisdom, works all things after the counsel of His own will—And the consummation of it all will take place when Christ returns! (Eph 1:9-11). All things will be made right when the Righteous Son appears! But until then, let us marvel at God’s wisdom, and seek to think His thoughts after Him. Let us look to Christ, and trust in God’s promise for His people: that "all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
