WORD FOR THE WISE:PROVERBS

Proverbs 23:26 My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.

Have you given God your heart? Have you truly trusted in Him alone? This is no easy task, for our sin nature objects to submitting to God at every point (Rom 1:7-8/1 Cor 2:14).But when the heart is made to observe God's ways, His wonderful works to save, His faithfulness to keep covenant, His determination to protect and provide for our very soul, even at cost of the death of His Righteous Son, then we, by the Spirit's power, are convinced that He loves us! (Ps 25:4-5/ Rom 8:32; 5:8/1 Jn 4:9) He is a Good Father, who never leaves us alone, but walks with us, and before us, that we might see His consistent character and discover such virtues in ourselves. But it all begins with, and is sustained by, a look toward Him! (2 Pet 1:2-4/Eph 5:1-2/Is 45:22) Open the Word of God and observe His wonderful ways.
