WORD OF THE DAY
Revelation 19:10
“And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy, what is the testimony of Jesus? The answer is the whole entire Bible. There are many people out there who question the scriptures, they say that they are just something that men wrote. Many professing Christians rarely open their Bibles and therefore are unable to defend the scriptures from attacks made by others. The scriptures are true and the reason why is because the source of all scripture is God. “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” 2 Peter 1:20-21. Paul, John, and Solomon and all others who were authors of the scriptures never sat down to write what they wanted they recorded what the Holy Spirit wanted them to record. This is backed up by “The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.”
Psalms 68:11 KJV. So for those who are professing Christians there is no other choice but to believe the scriptures, because to not believe them would be to make God a liar. “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”
Numbers 23:19 KJV
